Food Truck Friday Elementary School Coloring Contest
A big round of applause to all our little Bobcats for submitting their incredible artwork to Conewago’s Food Truck Friday Coloring Contest!
We received 210 entries from Conewago Elementary School from Kindergarten through 3rd Grade.
Now is the time to root for your favorites, as we will announce the winners soon and use their colors on our 2025 flyers.

Township Updates
- The Conewago Township Supervisors will take action on the proposed Multi-Municipal Comprehensive Plan at the May 6, 2025 meeting at 6 p.m., held at the municipal building, 490 Copenhaffer Rd, York PA 17404. A copy of the plan is available for inspection at the municipal building between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Conewago Township Office
Conewago Township is found in York County. The township consists of 24.35 square miles and is bordered on the north by Newberry Twp., on the east by East Manchester Twp., on the south by Manchester Twp., and on the west by Dover Twp.

Monday thru Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Conewago Township
History
Conewago Township was formed in 1818 from portions of Newberry and Dover Townships. The new municipality was shaped like a wedge between Dover Township and Manchester Township on the east and Newberry Township and Dover Township on the north and west. At a later date East Manchester Township divided from Manchester Township to become the second municipality bordering Conewago Township on the east.
The township’s oldest village, Strinestown, was founded in 1800, and had a population numbering 160 by 1886.
