Permit Email Scam ALERT: A nationwide Zoning & Planning Scam is targeting residents and businesses. Scammers are posing as local Planning and Zoning Officials via email asking for payment for permits. A common red flag of this scam is an email coming from the domain “usa.com”. Please stay diligent and verify any sender asking for payment – never send payment via wire transfer. Conewago Township does not send email invoices for payment of permits. Official Conewago Township emails end in “@conewagotwp.com”.

As part of the 2027 update to the York County Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) the York Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (YAMPO) has created a series of videos highlighting major projects across the county. Two of these projects, the Church Road/Susquehanna Intersection and I-83 Exit 24 Southbound Improvements take place in or near our municipality. The video linked shared below is for residents to increase awareness of the project and the York County TIP.
